Many buildings use two different communication systems, one for general announcements and one for emergency notifications, which are not designed to work together and do not communicate directly with fire detection or security systems. The Variodyn One system aims to better inform people about events happening inside a building and, in the event of an emergency, provide contextual information to improve response capability and facilitate safe egress.
Connected Life Safety Services
The Variodyn One configuration tool and management software are based on the Honeywell Connected Life Safety Services (CLSS) platform, which provides seamless integration with Honeywell Fire systems and a single user interface, simplifying the connection of the PA/VA system with the fire detection system.
